The 2011 Delaware Bike Summit was held on Friday, Oct. 14 in Lewes, and was a rousing success. We had more than 150 registered for the event. At the summit, DelDOT Sec. Shailen Bhatt and DNREC Sec. Collin O’Mara signed an agreement regarding improvements to Delaware Trails. For more on this, see the state Web site. Some of the projects listed in the agreement are included in the MPO’s Regional Bicycle Plan.
