SS4A – Kent County Safety Action Plan
Dover Kent MPO was awarded a $160,000 grant from the U.S. Department of Transportation to develop a Comprehensive Safety Action Plan for Kent County. This grant is part of USDOT’s Safe Streets and Roads for All (SS4A) program. The resulting plan will chart a course to reduce traffic fatalities and serious injuries on streets and roads throughout the county, including our municipalities.
The recommendations of the plan will be based on data as well as input from the public. Online surveys and public engagement events will be scheduled in the winter and spring to reach a variety of people across the county.
