Now Open for Public Comment

The Dover Kent MPO has published its draft FY2027-FY2030 Transportation Improvement Plan. It is available at this link: https://publicinput.com/doverkentmpotip2730 and is open for public comment between July 9, 2026 and September 2, 2026. The draft will be voted on by the MPO Council for adoption at its September meeting.

The TIP is derived from the MPO’s long-range Metropolitan Transportation Plan, titled Innovations 2050. Projects in the TIP are those for which the Delaware Department of Transportation will seek to secure federal funding. The TIP also serves as a budgetary guide for how much money is projected to be spent on each project. This TIP will also provide the “near-term” future projects from Innovations 2050.
