Comment period now open for MPO Public Participation Plan
DOVER – The Dover/Kent County MPO will open a 45-day public comment period regarding a draft of its updated public participation plan.
The plan outlines how the MPO seeks public input for its plans and programs and keeps meetings open to residents and the press. Federal rules require MPOs to have public participation plans. MPO staff will welcome comments on the plan and suggestions as to how it can further keep central Delaware residents informed of its activities and programs. The public comment period will run from May 16 to June 30, 2016.

May 18 was Bike to Work Day in Dover. Several riders pulled up to tents in front of the Dover Public Library that morning for some water and a few snacks before heading off to start their work day. This is an annual event, so we’ll see you next year!
